The Texas Diversity Council’s Board of Directors is a 23-member team of executives that represent a number of industries: banking, energy, education, finance, grocery, law, healthcare, insurance, technology, and transportation. The officers are listed below:
The great leaders who participate as members of the Board of Directors are committed to providing structure and governance in support of the Texas Diversity Council’s vision and mission. The board is organized into five committees: Activities, Communications, Education, Membership, and Planning/Finance. The committees are the foundation for our sustainability, future growth and development.
The Board of Directors will meet quarterly, starting in 2008. So far in 2007, the board has held two meetings. The first meeting was held on May 14 at Maggiano’s in the North Park Shopping Center in Dallas; the second one was held on September 12 at Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston. The final meeting for 2007 is scheduled for November 7 at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) in Dallas.
